Seth Stewart holds a Phd in American literature and textual scholarship from the City University of New York Graduate Center, and is the editor of the journals and letters of American poet John Wieners (Stars Seen in Person, 2015 from City Lights Books; Yours Presently, 2020 from U of New Mexico Press). He teaches American literature, world literature in translation, and queer studies at the University of Alabama, with primary scholarly and creative interests in the American and Brazilian queer undergrounds of the late 20th century.
