Adrian translates from Portuguese into English with a special focus on experimental fiction. Published translations include The Devastation of Silence by João Reis, published by Open Letter Books, The Whore by Márcia Barbieri, published by Sublunary Editions, and short stories by Raimundo Neto published in Cuíer: Queer Brazil from Two Lines Press. Her translation of Márcia Barbieri's The Whore won a PEN/Heim Translation Grant in 2021. She lives and works along the Rio Grande.
