I am a Portuguese and Spanish translator and editor living in Virginia. I earned undergraduate degrees from Georgetown University (Portuguese) and PUC/Rio de Janeiro (Translation), and an MBA from the George Washington University. I have mainly worked as freelancer, specializing in business, international development, and science journalism. My career has spanned over thirty years and includes more recent forays into the literary realm. As part of the Bode Inspiratório – Escape Goat project, I translated a chapter by Dulce Garcia and collaborated as an editor. Publication of two recent book-length translations from Portuguese are forthcoming.
