Nina Perrotta is a literary translator from Portuguese and Spanish into English and an editor at Words Without Borders. Her translations have appeared in the Iowa Review and The Common, among other publications. Her first book-length translation, of Brazilian writer Clara Alves’s London on My Mind, is forthcoming from Scholastic in 2024. She has received grants and fellowships from the Fulbright Commission and the British Centre for Literary Translation. In 2022, she was a finalist for the Peirene Stevns Portuguese Translation Prize.
